2016 Mercedes Sprinter 2500 4x4 $149,500

“Bow” was built in Truckee, California with views of Rainbow Bridge to the West, Donner Lake to the East, and Mountains all around which inspired the Tahoe Modern design in this van. Finished with Mahogany, Claro Black Walnut Counters, a Manzanita Light Fixture, with cork and charcoal tones Bow has a warm feeling of comfort and luxury built for adventures in the woods or the slopes. Insulated with merino wool, a silicone roof coat to keep the heat out in the summer and in during the winter, and heated by an Espar Diesel heater and cooled with 2 vent fans and four vented windows this is a true four season van.

Highlights include fives zones of interior lighting, a comfortable chaise style seat, booth style seating when the table is out, and a wrap around style couch that pulls out from under the bed for extra room to lounge or as an extra bed for a guest or pets. A stove, oven, isotherm fridge, sink with water heater and faucet that rotates out the window for an outdoor shower, as well as a composting toilet, bluetooth speakers, bookshelf, living plant wall, and tons of storage (we’re talking 22+ drawers/cabinets+closet space, not to mention a utilitarian garage space with a huge slide out drawer all which make room to bring along loads of gear). Climb on the roof deck with a mug of coffee or glass of wind to enjoy the views from wherever you are.

The electric system is the Redarc Suite paired with 400 amp hours of self heating lithium batteries powered by 400 watts of solar as well as dc/dc and shore power. This system allows for control and monitoring through a control panel behind the drivers seat, through your phone via the Redarc app (turn the flood lights on/off from your seat at the campfire or any of the zones of lights so you don’t have to fumble around in the dark for a switch), and well thought out placement of wall switches and dimmers to make it a breeze to turn the floor lights on from bed in the middle of the night to lighting up your cooking area, reading a book in bed with the reading lights, throwing on the manzanita ceiling fixture above the entry way, or dimming everything down for a cozy feeling before bed.

The van itself is a well maintained 4x4 sprinter with upgraded wheels, tires, and Fox suspension and has right around 40,000 miles. It was used to transport people up the hill for Lake Tahoe Snowmobile tours so you know it can handle the elements.

It is located to view or for pick up in Truckee, CA located 45 minutes away from Reno Airport.
