2021 Ford Transit 148WB AWD Mid Roof $86,500
Olly was built out to be an amazing retreat of a rental van in the Olympic Peninsula of Washington. The build was inspired to feel like you were on a coastal trip with modern cabin vibes on the inside and a hint of surf nostalgia on the outside with the cedar bump outs. Olly is meant to live inside and out of with plenty of seating and storage inside as well as an outdoor serving area in the sliding door and a slide out picnic table set up out the rear doors that seats four. All the sliders support 500lbs so the table itself could even be used as a small deck to sit walk out onto out of bed, or you could opt to climb the ladder for a better sunset view point on the large rooftop deck. There are outdoor LED flood lights on either side of the van for visibility when camping or playing outdoor games at night.
On the interior there is tons of storage, a two burner stove, sink with 20 gallons of water, a fridge, built in wall shelf perfect for coffee, a slide out table from under the bed, slide out trash bin, laundry bin under the bench seat, large book shelf, and so much more to make it a relaxing and functional space. There are even drop in counters to double your counter space when cooking or working from the van.
I’ve been living in my van full time for 8 years and build my vans out to hit the sweet spot of functional + fun, making a space both livable, one of a kind, and meant to adventure out of while comfortable spending a lot of time inside. The original motivation behind my first van that lives true in every one I’ve built since is to be able to light a candle or two at night to make the inside glow while you read a book. To me there’s nothing more relaxing in the world and I try to build rigs that bring that feeling to life in as many ways as possible.
